Partnering with schools, industries, and community leaders, Habersham Works is a new initiative launching in January 2026 designed to connect students and job seekers with in-demand careers in Habersham County. This program will include career exposure experiences, industry tours, skill-building workshops, and employer networking opportunities aimed at strengthening the local talent pipeline.

The Raider Up Career Center at Habersham Central High School is a collaborative initiative that immerses students in career exploration and work-based learning. Through mentoring, career planning, and industry engagement, Raider Up helps students define their goals and prepare for successful transitions into the workforce after graduation.

In partnership with Habersham Central High School (HCHS) and North Georgia Technical College (NGTC), Partnership Habersham supports a dual enrollment welding program that provides high school students the opportunity to earn college credits and industry-recognized skills. This program helps students gain technical expertise and jumpstart high-demand careers in manufacturing and skilled trades.

As an effort to expose students to the available career paths within Habersham County, we host two annual events: The Ninth Grade Academy Career Fair and the South Habersham Middle School 7th grade Industry Tour. These programs focus students toward local workforce opportunities, exposing them to the available jobs and education and training paths needed to pursue these careers.
